Welcome to the Loxton North Primary School website. 

The school is set in the heart of an important Riverland orchard, vineyard and farming area.  It is essentially a country school in character, in that most of the children come from families who are associated with primary production.

We have approximately 76 students currently enrolled from Reception from Year Seven, in four classes, in the mornings reverting to three classes in the afternoon. These arrangements will enable us to continue to provide a focus on Literacy and Numeracy with these curriculum areas being taught in the mornings in small groups.There are many benefits for children in a smaller country setting.  The school has a caring attitude towards all, is able to cater for a wide range of individual student needs, and provides many opportunities for students in academic, social and sporting endeavours.

The school has excellent facilities, air conditioned classrooms, play equipment, sporting ovals ,large covered outdoor learning area and our own swimming pool.

We work closely with the Loxton North Kindergarten and the Loxton North Playgroup, which are both on the school site, and this provides a gentle and smooth transition from home through Kindergarten to school.
